However, the treatise itself is based around the explanation of seven topics or subjects, known as the seven vajrapada. These seven are the buddha, dharma, sangha, the element (dhātu), enlightenment (bodhi), enlightened qualities (guṇa), and enlightened activities (karman). The first four are discussed in the first chapter and the following three are discussed consecutively in the second, third and fourth chapters, respectively. The treatise also mentions specific sūtras that are the sources upon which the explanation of each of the seven are based. Some of these sūtras cover more than one topic, but only the Dhāraṇīśvararājasūtra is stated to cover all seven vajrapadas. Below you will find information on these seven, including their sūtra sources and how they have been addressed in relation to the Ratnagotravibhāga. <div class="text-right zoom-80"> </div> 2020-03-23T15:51:07Z 2458932.1604977 2025-01-14T21:32:25Z 2460690.3975116 false The Seven Vajra Topics 0 200 0 template 1 Charrier & Patrick Carré at the 2019 Tathāgatagarbha Symposium The Seven Vajra Topics# QUERY5df7dbfd5621445fffad73ef7485cd5f 0 200 0 template 1 Learning about the Uttaratantrashastra in the Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Shedra by Tokpa Tulku The Seven Vajra Topics# QUERY4d90fd0c11707bc8f2a72d6e173eca5f 0 0 plainlist 1 :Maitreya The Seven Vajra Topics# QUERY57fc0691195d38c76896e71fc1d944bd 0 0 plainlist 1 :Asaṅga The Seven Vajra Topics# QUERY5360854da655de00aff1a74d6bff20d8 0 0 plainlist 1 :Sajjana The Seven Vajra Topics# QUERY2b5742b92665d111ea42f88fd97147c9 0 0 plainlist 1 :Ngok Lotsāwa Loden Sherab The Seven Vajra Topics# QUERY40ec28e48e1f5db10fd1bad816bdf7ff 0 0 plainlist 1 :Marpa Dopa Chökyi Wangchuk The Seven Vajra Topics# QUERY4963e19c16d58f7f489feff5de9e76b6 0 0 plainlist 1 :Gö Lotsāwa Zhönu Pal The Seven Vajra Topics# QUERYe5bfbfb61b6ed034d45d3f3662c71ea0 0 0 plainlist 1 :Jamgön Kongtrul The Seven Vajra Topics# QUERYfe2e9f065c5549e1b7e3b65c311e179a 0 0 plainlist 1 :Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso The Seven Vajra Topics# QUERY282e97c73c55ba7919cf55888aa17700 The Seven Vajra Subjects 0 en The Seven Vajra Subjects REDI 102 en REDI
