The dharmakaya is free from elaborate constructs and endowed with the twenty-one sets of enlightened qualities. Sambho- gakaya is of the nature of light and endowed with the perfect major and minor marks, perceptible only to bodhisattvas on the bhumis. The nirmanakaya manifests in forms perceptible to both pure and impure beings. +
The "essence body," sometimes counted as the fourth kaya, the unity of the first three. +
The mahamudra system based on the prajnaparamita scriptures and emphasizing shamatha and vipashyana and the progressive journey through the five paths and ten bodhisattva bhumis. +
The five aspects or "aggregates" that comprise the physical and mental constituents of a sentient being: physical forms, sensations, conceptions, (mental) formations, and consciousnesses. +
