Lit. "one who has gone to bliss": an epithet of a Buddha. +
Also "conscientiousness," "honesty": to be ashamed of oneself if one commits negative actions. This is one of the seven noble riches ( 'phags pa'i nor bdun) listed in verse 32 of Letter to a Friend +
Meditative absorption of different degrees. Generally translated as "concentration." +
The truth of suffering, the truth of the origin of suffering, the truth of cessation, and the truth of the path. These constitute the foundation of Buddha Shakyamuni's doctrine', the first teaching that he gave (at Sarnath near Varanasi) after attaining enlightenment. +
