- Sherab Gyatso NOT Sherap Gyamtso!
- Gyatso (NOT Gyamtso), unless a modern Tibetan name that is used to publish and is widely accepted, such as Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso
- BUT Tupten, not Thubten - BUT remember that modern authors may spell their names as they please and we follow them if they publish under specific spellings, so Thupten Jinpa is not to be changed to Tupten.
