Function, operation. +
Reversing/stopping of the saṃsāric process. +

That which is exceedingly obstructive (a= atyartham, 'exceedingly'; gha=hanti<br> 'strike/obstruct'; atyarthaṃ hanti hanyate ceti agham); <br>i.e., agglomerated obstructive matter. +
Non-endowment. A viprayukta-samskāra. When a dharma <br>is lost or disconnected from a person and continues to be disconnected,<br>he has the asamanvāgama of that dharma. Its svabhāva is aprāpti. +
(1)Having a mode of activity; this refers to the'fact that all citta-caitta-<br>-dharma-s can cognize an object. (2) Having the same mode ofactivity,<br> one of the conditions for samprayoga. pañcadhā samatā. +
Preparatory efforts (prayoga) conducing to liberation. They essentially<br>comprise śamatha and vipaśyanā meditational practices. +
Unhindered knowledge with regard to etymology, one of the four types of <br>pratisaṃvid. —►artha-pratisaṃvid. +
A worldling who has not abandoned any defilements through the mundane<br>path before becoming an ārya. +
