The intelligent who are excellently adorned<br>With this light of the wisdom<br>That arises from study will swiftly<br>Enter the sphere of the buddhas in its entirety. +
To that end, the nine kinds of examples<br>Of Śakra’s appearance on beryl<br>And so on were discussed. The [following]<br>Describe their summarized meanings— +
The display, the instruction, the all-pervasiveness,<br>The emanation, the radiance of wisdom,<br>The secrets of body, speech, and mind,<br>And the attainment of those whose character is compassion. +
The nonconceptual mind [of the Buddha],<br>In which all stirring of effort is at peace,<br>Resembles the manifestation of the appearance<br>Of Śakra in stainless beryl and so on. +
In order to establish the meaning of this matter,<br>The thesis is "effort is at peace,"<br>The reason is "the nonconceptuality of the mind,"<br>And the examples are "the appearance of Śakra" and so on. +
Here, the meaning of this matter<br>Is that the nine [features] such as "display"<br>Manifest in an effortless manner and without<br>The teacher arising or disappearing. +
The one who, like Indra, like a drum, like clouds,<br>Like Brahmā, the sun, the precious king of wish-fulfilling jewels,<br>Like an echo, space, and the earth, promotes the welfare of others<br>Without effort for as long as [saṃsāric] existence lasts is the knower of yoga. +
The display [of his body] resembles the lord of the gods appearing in a jewel.<br>As the one who excellently gives instructions, he is like the drum of the gods.<br>His all-pervasive cloud banks of great wisdom and compassion<br>Pervade infinite numbers of beings up through the Peak of Existence. +
Like Brahmā, without moving from his immaculate abode,<br>He displays himself by way of many kinds of emanations.<br>Similar to the sun, the brilliance of his wisdom always radiates.<br>His mind resembles a pure and precious wish-fulfilling jewel. +
