parādhikāraniryāṇāt sattvātmasamadarśanāt
kṛtyāparisamāpteśca kriyāpraśrabdhirā bhavāt
E. H. Johnston as input by the University of the West.[2]
Because of [accomplishing] deliverance for the sake of others,
Because of regarding sentient beings and oneself as equal,
And because of there being no end to what is to be done,
[Buddha] activity is uninterrupted as long as [saṃsāric] existence lasts.

Other English translations[edit]

Obermiller (1931) [9]
Performing acts of deliverance for the sake of others,
Perceiving the identity of himself and the living beings,
And, knowing no termination in his (altruistic) work,
The Buddha acts uninterruptedly, as long as the world exists.
Takasaki (1966) [10]
Performing Deliverance for the sake of others,
Considering the living beings as one's own self,
And having works of no termination, [The Buddha]
Acts 'uninterruptedly' as long as the world exists.
Fuchs (2000) [11]
Their release [is accomplished] for the sake of others.
They see the equality of themselves and sentient beings
and their activity is not completed to its full extent.
Thus their deeds will never cease while samsara exists.
